Richard Greensit

Richard is a leading healthcare expert with extensive experience of healthcare litigation against the NHS, hospital trusts and individual medical practitioners.

He provides advocacy services to mental health and acute hospital trusts and regularly appears in the coroner’s court.

Richard has recently undertaken an independent investigation on behalf of a major hospital into the clinical care provided to one of its patients. He made various recommendations arising out of his findings.

In addition to providing advice on liability, he has advised on the legal grounds for detention of various patients with mental impairment.

Richard’s focus is to assist his clients with learning from errors or ‘near misses’ and spends most of his professional time assisting his clients with the improvement of clinical services and amicably resolving disputes.
